Building is a collaborative process

One of the oldest types of construction, Design-Build is a process where a single firm handles all aspects of construction. The Design-Build system is beneficial for an owner as it can significantly reduce project risk for the owner and decrease the overall timeline of the project due the ability to overlap the design and construction phases. Unlike the traditional process of Design-Bid-Build, the Design-Build approach allows design and construction to work in concert with each other from the beginning thus eliminating the risk of re-design which can be costly to both the schedule and budget.

Scala provides Design-Build Services in collaboration with its architectural and engineering partners and is experienced in playing an active role in guiding key design decisions which may be influenced by building codes, regulations, engineering or other factors .
